The steel structural gate project for the Malabo University Town in Equatorial Guinea is the first overseas project of China Commerce Green Building since its establishment. The project is a two-story frame structure with a combination of box columns and box beams, and its secondary beams are made of prefabricated H-shaped steel beam. Its total height is about 8.55 meters, and the total building area is about 720 square meters. Steel structure members are connected by means of welding, high-strength bolts and ordinary bolts. The beam-column rigid connection is realized through welding between upper and lower flanges and bolted connection between webs. High-strength bolts of Grade 10.9 torsional shear-type were used. The project was completed by the end of 2019.
